378 pp, introduction - Leon Stein, Chicago Symphony Orchestra Memorial Edition. Original title published in 1905. Founder of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. list of at least 30 illustrations. Thomas introduced many orchestral works into the United States in the late nineteenth century up to the time of hsi sudden death in 1905. 6.4" x 9.25". Brown half-leather with brown paper-covered boards and gilt instruments on front board, gilt lettering to spine, and pictorial end papers. Size: Large Octavo.
