Seller: By The Way Books, Richmond, TX, U.S.A.
Third printing. 392 pages. A model of the universe, the outline of which was written two months before the death in 1947 of P.D. Ouspensky, but was not completed until 1953. Collin insisted the book is "a direct result of what he (Ouspensky) was trying to achieve and show." The 21 chapters, divided into seven sections of three chapters each, span the structure of the universe, the sun and planets of the solar system, man and the six processes governing him, the sequence of civilizations and the cycles of growth, digestion, elimination, crime, healing, and regeneration. Collin's aim was to view man and his inner life in the same way one views the universe, and vice versa, in order to reconcile the inner and outer worlds. Very good condition in near very good dust jacket; Front free end-paper removed, otherwise book is very good; Jacket age toned and modestly soiled. Seller Inventory # 15317
