Second edition, revised by the author, 15 preliminary pages, 149 pages, very good condition in half calf and marbled paper covered boards, spine gilt decorated in compartments within raised bands, leather title label, corners of boards and edges of spine rubbed, spine faded, pencil marking of the text and some extensive (but relevant) pencil annotations, fore-edge tear on page 9/10, bookplate of Martin Ridley Smith on front end-paper.
