About the Author
Erhard Brepohl studied at the College of Applied Arts in Leipzig where he received his Masters level status. Theory and Practice of Goldsmithing, first published in 1961, has sold over 100,000 copies in its German and Russian editions. Dr. Brepohl is the author of five other books, including Artistic Enameling (1979) and Cutting and Setting Precious Stones (1988).
