Marcelo J.S. de Lemos is a renowned mechanical engineer and Full Professor at the Aeronautical Institute of Technology - ITA in Brazil. He holds a Bachelor's and MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) and obtained his PhD from Purdue University, USA. With expertise in computational thermo-fluid dynamics, his research focuses on heat and mass transfer in permeable media, gas turbines, renewable energy systems, and modeling of thermochemical systems.
