No Such Thing

For When Pigs Fly lovers, No Such Thing will feel like coming home.

Summer James has discovered that there is hope in healing. She is lucky enough to have learned that over the last two years. However, doing something entirely for herself and starting over in a new state? That feels strange. But Summer has embraced her new life in California with a new mantra, following a path toward acceptance of the past she left behind. She has learned to love herself, it's true, but when the fear of losing people still feels suffocating, can she allow someone else to love her? There is purpose in Summer’s future—she can feel it—but what will happen when a girl named Stella crosses her path and the past tries to pull her back?

Kash Holden knows California is for dreamers. It’s what his dad always told him. It’s the idea that brought him to Santa Monica in the first place. After leaving his 9-5 and opening his own bar on the beach he feels like he’s doing what he was called to do, though something still seems to be missing from his life. When he meets Jimmy, a restaurant owner who works next door, he feels a connection to the older man—a connection he can’t quite explain. Will Jimmy help Kash determine the missing pieces? Will Kash, like Summer, come to terms with his own past? Or will there forever be a void inside his heart?

Take a trip to Santa Monica. See some old friends and meet some new ones. But be warned—you may just find that you’d rather not leave.
