On a Tuesday afternoon, Lucas is stuck in a rut, between odd jobs, and not really watching a nature documentary about migratory patterns. Then, the world liquefies. Lucas just wants to get home, drink his cold tea, and never complain about anything ordinary ever again.

About the Author

Bruce Prins is an author and operational governance thinker. With over three decades in hospitality and operational leadership across South Africa and Nigeria, he has worked inside complex, founder-led environments where performance is shaped as much by internal governance as by emotional and adversity intelligence.

He is also and artist, father of a special needs daughter, and an author of fun fiction.
