Bob Hamp is the Executive pastor of Freedom Ministry at Gateway Church in Southlake, Texas. He has spent the last several years designing a unique and meaningful way to help thousands of people experience real freedom from the kinds of things that hold humans captive. Coming from an un-churched background, he was unexpectedly ambushed by an encounter with God that changed the direction and foundation of his life forever. Licensed as a Professional Counselor in Texas, Bob was in private practice for 16 years, helping people with every type of struggle imaginable. His work with believers and unbelievers alike helped convince him that the message of Jesus contained real help for people with real problems. Always looking for unique ways to communicate the power of God s activity among humans, Bob teaches classes and trains pastors in ways to engage people with the living and active God to unleash their God-given identity and purpose. Bob and his wife Jackee have four grown children each one with their own unique identity and purpose.
