Third Time's the Charm (Previously Published as Blame It on the Brontes)

Classic and contemporary romance readers alike will love this charming Brontës-inspired second-chance romance about an English professor on the hunt to uncover the identity of her small-town's anonymous romance author.

She’s going to write her own happy ending.

College professor Athena Murphy needs to pull out all the stops to save her job. Her plan: unveil the secret identity of a chart-topping author living in her hometown. And while everyone at the local café is eager to help, no one can solve the mystery. Not even her drive-me-crazy ex-boyfriend who she’d rather not see again. As in, never.
Thorne Kent is shocked when Athena walks into his café. After all, their relationship went down in flames not just once but twice. There’s no denying the chemistry between them still burns. So why did she risk coming back to town? It’s going to be a long, hot summer…unless the third time really is the charm.

Annie Sereno holds a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania as well as master's degrees in library science and British and American literature. Among other libraries, she was privileged to serve Harvard University and The National Geographic Society. When she's not expressing her imagination with pen and paintbrush, Annie gardens, swims, and haunts art museums. In possession of a well-worn passport and memories of all the places she's called home, she shares her life with her husband and two sons. Mildly (okay, seriously) obsessed with birds, Celtic music, and all things Australian, she believes there is no such thing as a former librarian, no time to read, or too many shoes. She currently lives with her family in New Jersey.
