A Thorn in the Garden (The TAKEN Series)

The year is 1768. I left my home in modern-day Los Angeles to return with Leif to our home in Boston. Once separated by time and distance, we find ourselves reunited here, living our lives as before. Tensions with the Crown are reaching boiling point, and more troops descend upon the city. I must find a way to navigate the treacherous waters of loyalty and rebellion as I remain by Leif’s side.

Caught between his allegiance to the Crown and his burgeoning desire for independence, Leif treads a dangerous path to ensure our autonomy while serving in His Majesty’s army. But the discovery of a perilous operation threatens to unravel our union and our very lives.

Friends turn to foes, and betrayal lurks around every corner. Leif and I must muster all our strength and cunning to survive the turbulent sea of politics and treason that threatens to engulf us. Will our love endure this? Or will shadows of independence tear us apart?
