Thoughts from the Shelf of an Outsider (Paperback)

Paperback. In Thoughts from the Shelf of an Outsider (German edition: Gedanken aus dem Regal eines Aussenseiters), we encounter Jon Cabanski's characteristic engagement with the stupidity and narrow-mindedness of people, their hypocrisy, and the meaninglessness of their everyday lives. It is a reflection on a world "that now wants to become clean, climate-friendly, beautiful, neatly groomed, hyper-correct, and boring as hell."However, Thoughts from the Shelf of an Outsider is not a guidebook. J. Cabanski is far from wanting to preach to others. Instead, his sensitivity and keen powers of observation reveal things we know all too well but have long lost sight of."I spent over thirty years trying to understand people. That was a mistake. If there were something to understand, I'd have figured it out in five minutes." The word "P(r)oem" comes from the author himself and refers to both a prose poem and short prose pieces in poetic form. This item is printed on demand.
