Threads That Don't Bind (The Rootstone Covenant)

The lanterns glowed an unearthly white, casting eerie shadows along the road where Thalin Braewind stood, searching for meaning in the radiant glow. In the realm of Aurelith, where bridges, songs, and customs once wove the fabric of society, these mysterious lights now herald a new danger. Elder Trinnis, a figure both cryptic and wise, entrusts Thalin with a vital mission: to protect the mercy-routes from binding contracts threatening their freedom.

Thalin's quest is not a solitary one. As he gathers a diverse group of companions, each carrying the weight of their own past, the journey uncovers the fragile strength of truth and mercy. From the skilled navigator Corla to the skeptical and inquisitive Nesta, each must confront their own beliefs and decide whether to risk everything for an unseen thread that promises a brighter future.

The looming threat of Veyr's influence casts a long shadow. As Thalin leads his companions through trials that test their faith and courage, they must confront their deepest fears. In this world of uncertain alliances and unseen forces, will the bonds they form be enough to mend the broken threads that once held their world together?

"Threads That Don't Bind" is a gripping Christian fantasy that explores themes of faith, courage, and the power of unity. As Thalin and his companions navigate a world on the brink of change, they discover the enduring strength found in truth, mercy, and unyielding hope.
