Threads of Light: Book 2 of the Vitalian Chronicles

Every night, Safran dreams of Talia-a sister she never had.

Six months after becoming a royal Protector, Safran has found new purpose and direction. She uses her burgeoning supernatural abilities to protect the city of Vitalia's magical relics. But those abilities come with dreams of family that defy reality and explanation.

Then the Order of Death steals a powerful Tablet in broad daylight. They leave behind a message in ash that only Safran understands.

"Stastaverren. Come alone. Talia."

Burdened by secrets and failure, Safran and her brother Curt leave Vitalia to discover a dangerous world of rebels and roaming monsters. Cryptic notes from someone who calls herself Talia draw Safran toward a series of painful revelations.

What will Safran find in Stastaverren? Why was her sister's name on that wall? And has she been fighting for the wrong side all along?

Threads of Light is the second book in the Vitalian Chronicles by Addison Horner.
