For some topics, the verses are in chronological order of thought. Some threads, such as the one on advice, lists the five ways to know if you have a good adviser. Other threads have the central theme identified in the middle verse of the list of proverbs for that topic. Exploring the proverbs by topic unlocks the meanings of the proverbs, parables, sayings, and riddles that were previously hard to understand. About the AuthorAfter working in the CPA world for three years, Robert K. Biles spent the next forty years serving as the finance director or CFO for six cities and a transit agency. Besides experiencing multiple government and management styles, having lived in six of the states west of the Mississippi River, Biles has firsthand experience of regional cultural differences and a wide range of personalities. Biles and his wife of forty-seven years have three children and six grandchildren. They spend two days a week with the grandchildren (and their parents) and the whole family joyfully gathers on a regular basis. Biles and his wife attend New Hope First Baptist Church in Cedar Park, Texas, and are active participants in several activities, including a wonderful Sunday School class.
