Octavo, two volumes, [ii], xxiv, 355 pages; and [ii], xii, 415, [1] (colophon) pages with numerous illustrations plus pictorial title leaves, 48 plates (2 in colour, one folding), a large folding colour map and 3 small folding colour maps. Synthetic cloth slightly marked, with a tiny split to the front joint of one volume, and bumps to the top corners of the other volume; edges slightly marked; endpapers tanned; a very good set.
