The three good friends are Lillie, Carrie and Floss. Lillie and Carrie are sisters, Floss is a dog.

Saddle-stitched (cloth) booklet with four internal colour engravings of the three amigos/as.

As well as absence of the illustrator's name, there is also no published reference to the author.

According to the front cover the book is: 'Untearable - Mounted on Cloth' (see top of main image).

In addition to the illustrations, there are eight short poems with titles like Dolly and Her Mama, and the Turtle-Dove?s Nest.

Condition (external): tanning is visible on both the upper and lower (card) covers; especially at and near the booklet's edges. In addition, the card towards the head of the spine displays some fraying.

Condition (internal): again the tanning is obvious (with occasional foxing) especially on the pages featuring the poems. The images are much less obviously affected.

Unpaginated. Undated. 8vo.
