About the Author: Mr. Cloutier studied the Russian language at Defense Language Institute and the University of Connecticut. He has written two previous military history titles: "Regio Esercito: the Italian Royal Army in Mussolini's Wars 1935-1943" and "Three Kings: Axis Royal Armies on the Russian Front 1941." Mr. Cloutier has also written opinions and guest editorials over the years, for a number of newspapers, including The Providence Journal, The New Haven Register, The Waterbury Republican-American, The Connecticut Post, and The Austin-American Statesman.
