Three Kittens Count

The purpose of Three Kittens Count to introduce children to mathematics in a friendly and pleasant way. The book presents mathematical concepts from the children's immediate surroundings through stories and rhymes, such as the number three, number conservation, patterns, symmetry, periodicity, ordinal numbers, countdown, permutations, and more. At the bottom of each page, a short explanation is provided for parents about the mathematical concepts included on the page.

Dr Yafa Ginosar, who holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a doctorate in early childhood mathematics education (Anglia Ruskin University, UK), is dedicated to advancing the teaching of mathematics.

Tamar Golan O'Brien, a journalist and author, has published twenty children's books. Tamar hosted a radio talk show and worked as a field producer for CNN. This is her second book published in the UK.
