Item description from seller

Three programs. Each approximately 10" x 13". Single sheets of stiff paper folded once to form four pages. They are worn at the extremities, with folds across the front wrappers, and a few spots and tears, very good. The three programs, two dated 1919 and one dated 1920, are from The Lambs Club of New York, established in 1874 and still active. Some of its most noted members include Fred Astaire, Irving Berlin, Cecil B. DeMille, Douglas Fairbanks, Will Rogers, and James Montgomery Flagg. The November "Installation Gambol" features an 11-act performance with W.C. Fields as The Interloper, William Powell as one of the chorus ladies, and Eddie Cantor as himself. The December "Thanksgiving Gambol" includes a performance by stage actor William Farnum, and a dramatic presentation of *Hawkshaw The Detective*. The January "Christmas Gambol" feature a play by Frank Crane and a cover illustration from George McManus, the creator of the comic strip, *Bringing Up Father*. *OCLC* lists three other Lambs programs but none are from 1919 or 1920.
