48 pages. Collects three talks given in 1942 at UC Berkeley (where Mendelsohn would stay after the war): Architecture in a World Crisis; Architecture Today; and Architecture in a Rebuilt World. Mendelsohn was an important Jewish-German architect who did some of his best work in Palestine, after being invited there to design a house for Chaim Weizmann. He has been the subject of several monographs and in 2013, a traveling exhibit toured German and Israel. First edition (first printing).
