Three Men in a Boat | Timeless Classics

'Three Men in a Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) by Jerome K. Jerome is a timeless comedic masterpiece that chronicles the chaotic boating holiday of three Victorian gentlemen-Jerome, George, and Harris-along with their mischievous fox terrier, Montmorency.

Convinced they are suffering from severe overwork and "general sluggishness of the liver," the trio decides a peaceful rowing trip up the River Thames is the perfect cure. However, their idyllic escape quickly dissolves into a series of hilarious mishaps. From disastrous encounters with unreliable weather forecasts and unopenable tins of pineapple to comical battles with unruly tents and aggressive swans, absolutely nothing goes as planned.

Brimming with witty observations, gentle satire, and relatable human follies, this classic adventure reminds us that the greatest hazards of travel often come from our own companions.
