Three Noirs & a Blanc

Where Would We Be

Without Friends?

In the late '60s, Leeroy Edwards, Laverne Knox, and Lester Washington, three street musicians who have jammed together for years while slowly sinking into potential homelessness and starvation, meet young, brilliant guitarist, Jacob Alvin "Jake" Thomas, himself homeless.

The four men cannot imagine how their meeting will change all their lives for the better, engendering a deep friendship among them forever.

This novel celebrates that genuine friendship can transcend color lines, reminding readers of the immeasurable value and often unrealized contributions friends can make in our lives. This inspiring and soul-stirring book applauds good relationships, helping readers answer the question, "Where would I be without friends?"
