8vo, i-xii, 307 pp, wood engraved illustrations throughout, folding map of The Jotunfjeld. Original red decorated cloth, some wear to the top of the spine, covers a little dull but a good sound copy of a title that is hard to find in very good condition. First published in 1883 three editions were published by 1887 evidence of the books popularity. Inscription dated October 1887 on the front paste down.
