Three Record Muskies in His Day, The Life & Times of Louie Spray.

Three Record Muskies in His Day is a most unique "northwoods novel" about the life of one of Wisconsin's greatest outdoor legends... Louie Spray. Sure to capture the interest of anyone who enjoys northwoods nostalgia, outdoor lore, and, of course, musky fishing, this book promises to take you on a rare journey back to a most fascinating period in Wisconsin history, as seen through the eyes of one of the region's most flamboyant outdoorsmen. A reissuance of Louie Spray's 1980 autobiography, My Musky Days, this book is spiced with even deeper insight into a most complex individual and the raucous times in which he lived. Learn all of Louie Spray's angling secrets, and hear his tales of being a lumberjack, bootlegger, and, of course, battling record muskies. Read about northern Wisconsin's most notorious shoot-outs, manhunts, and kidnappings, and learn what the gangsters really did when on holiday in Spray's "backyard." It's all here in Three Record Muskies in His Day... an epic tale that will no doubt entertain, educate, and even move you. 260 pages and an 8 1/2" by 11" format.
