Three More Screenplays by Greg Dorchak

Author and filmmaker Greg Dorchak presents three more of his screenplays to be enjoyed as short stories. One, an unproduced darkly humorous thriller;

another, a workplace character-driven comedy made into a feature film; and the third, a buddy/road story that was re-imagined into an old-time radio

play. So grab that popcorn one more time, slap in your favorite actors... and enjoy these three comical stories.

Greg Dorchak is an actor, writer, and filmmaker based in Austin, Texas. He's appeared in numerous feature films, commonly in offbeat roles where his comedic skills serve him best. He's highly adaptable and just as likely to show up as a polished yet unscrupulous executive, eccentric high school teacher, or childish dad. Comedy was an early love for Dorchak. In his teens, he began performing stand-up in Las Vegas where he attended the University of Nevada. Sketch comedy eventually followed, and he started an improv/sketch troupe there. He later helmed a comedy troupe in Austin. As a filmmaker, Dorchak wrote and directed the feature-length film KOPY KINGS. The workplace comedy about misfit employees at a 24-hour copy center earned numerous awards on the festival circuit. Its lampooning of the ridiculousness of mundane customer service jobs resonated with audiences all over North America and called to mind indie cult classics from Kevin Smith and Mike Judge. Dorchak leveraged his experience as writer/director of KOPY KINGS, and also as an actor, to help newcomers to filmmaking and acting with his books HOW TO PULL A MOVIE OUT OF YOUR ASS and GOOD SHIT TO KNOW ABOUT BEING A FILM ACTOR. In these, he guides first-time filmmakers and actors with realistic expectations for working in the industry.
