The three small octavo volumes pictured (approx. 5x7½ in./19 cm) are French and Italian paperback editions of literature (titles and imprint details on request), professionally re-bound (by Legatoria di Libri Antonelli, Roma, his label in two of the volumes) in similar fine bindings of half vellum and marbled boards with gold rules and simple spine decorations, gold spine titles (two on red leather labels). A Fine group of books, the handsome vellum bindings are all tight, bright and almost as creamy white as the day they were bound [1970 s?], virtually no wear or ageing of the vellum, the contents very clean, no marks, names or sign of prior ownership. A short stack of very handsome volumes for the astute interior decorator and the collector of fine bindings. One reasonable price for all 3 books.
