About the Author

Joe Campolo Jr. is an award-winning author, poet, and public speaker. He is a Vietnam War veteran and a veteran's advocate. He is a feature weriter for Dispatches, the national quarterly magazine of Military Writers' Society of America (MWSA). Many of his short stories are published there and in other magazines, as well. Joe is an avid fisherman, and some humorous fishing stories can also be found on his blog. Joe is married and has two children, two grandchildren, and lives in the state of Wisconsin.
