Threefold Cord: The Threefold Communication with God

In Threefold Cord: The Threefold Communication with God, Brian D. Bain calls readers back to the heart of intimacy with the Father through the three inseparable strands of prayer, the Word, and worship. Drawing on rich biblical insight and vivid illustrations, Bain shows that each strand alone is powerful: prayer opens our hearts, the Word anchors our minds, and worship aligns our spirits, but together they form a braided lifeline that anchors believers to God’s presence and power. Using Scripture, case studies, and practical guidance, he reveals how these disciplines move us from routine to relationship, creating an atmosphere where heaven and earth meet, chains are broken, and hearts are transformed.

More than a manual of spiritual practices, Threefold Cord is an invitation to vibrant, two-way communion with God. Bain traces the “thread of threeness” from Genesis to the life of Christ, illustrating how the triune God designed communication not as distant ritual but as living fellowship. Each chapter blends teaching, prophetic insight, and application steps that help readers weave prayer, the Word, and worship into the fabric of daily life. Whether a new believer longing for a deeper connection or a seasoned Christian seeking renewal, this book offers a timeless guide to cultivating an unbreakable bond with God—a cord “not easily broken” that strengthens, steadies, and transforms every aspect of the believer’s walk.
