Thursday Fire: Fifty-Two Weeks of Inspiration for Disciplined Leaders (Volume 1)

As leaders, it’s our responsibility to bring the attitude and commitment required to inspire others. Energy tanks can run low, however, especially towards the end of the week. That’s why you need Thursday Fire.

Leaders of all kinds—from the conference room to the locker room—share similar challenges, but time always seems to be the toughest. There’s just never enough, they say. They’re just too “busy.”

If you’ve convinced yourself that time is the enemy of your leadership development, this book is for you. All it takes is five minutes, once per week—preferably on Thursdays.

With more than 250 brief but powerful weekly messages of inspiration, leadership coach Ben Rogers’ THURSDAY FIRE newsletter has helped an army of current and aspiring Disciplined Leaders finish their week strong for more than five years and counting.

In this curated collection of 52 of the most popular messages, valuable wisdom from some of the world’s top leaders in sports, business, and other areas of life is simplified and made applicable for any leader who wants to improve.

Presented in Rogers’ unique no-nonsense style, Thursday Fire delivers a straight-to-the-point resource for building leadership that never sits on the bench.

Ben Rogers is the founder of BUILD Coaching Company, a leadership development group that serves as a resource for and a connector of current and aspiring leaders. Its mission is to build an army of Disciplined Leaders using practical experience in sports, small business, and other areas of life.

Ben also serves as a junior partner at Hometown Realty and the team leader for the Rogers-Long Team (RLT), a perennial top-producing real estate group in Central Virginia. The RLT began in 2014 with a mission to build an army of people who do good, become better, and strive to be their best.

An All-American and Hall of Fame offensive lineman at Hampden-Sydney College, Ben frequently found himself in leadership positions on and off the football field growing up. Today in the professional world, he is known as a connected and positive leader with a relentless work ethic.

Ben resides in Hanover County, Virginia, with the love of his life, Emma; their daughter, Elliott; and their son, Fisher.
