Handsome early copy of this SF classic. Early Vintage Hardcover [The Science Fiction Book Club, London, 1958]; 232 pages; light blue cloth, gold block titling on spine, corners a little bumped, an excellent copy; in like dustjacket, 1cm tear on back top, edges rubbed, slightly marked. The 31st title under the SFBC imprint, listed ?for sale to book club members only? on front flap. SFBC Proprietor was Sidgwick & Jackson [original UK publishers of ?Tiger! Tiger!? in 1956]. Jacket design by C.W. Bacon [as with all 1950s SFBC titles]. ?Tiger! Tiger!? was first published in the UK, followed by a serial publication in Galaxy Magazine, then the official First US Edition in 1957 - a paperback printing under the title ?The Stars My Destination?.
