Tiger Days

Warm and reassuring, this emotionally affirming picture book explores the many moods children experience, helping them see that whether they feel loud or quiet, brave or uncertain, every feeling belongs.

From tiger fierce to snail slow, there are lots of ways to feel and be. A walk through the menagerie of Tiger Days helps young readers see all the feelings they have and the ways those feelings change.

Children will recognize their own emotions on these pages—from enthusiasm and stubbornness to sadness, and strength. Through playful rhymes and colorful illustrations, all inspired by different animals, this spirited book offers kids new ways to understand emotions and express them to family, teachers, friends, and themselves. Along the way, they’ll discover that no matter how they feel or act, they are always still themselves. Big feelings, small feelings, brave days, and uncertain ones all belong, because they’re all part of growing.

Perfect for bedtime reassurance or classroom reflection, this thoughtful read-aloud supports emotional literacy while fostering self-acceptance.

Because whether today is a tiger day, a snail day, or something in between—you are still you. And that is always enough.
