Violet Hunt (1862–1942) was a British author and literary hostess. As an active feminist, she wrote many novels of the New Woman genre and founded the Women Writers’ Suffrage League and participated in the founding of International PEN. She also authored two collections of supernatural stories, Tales of the Uneasy and More Tales of the Uneasy.
