Cicindela (sensu lato) species and subspecies of tiger beetles known from the Indian subcontinent countries of India, Palistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka, are reviewed comprehensively. The 151 species are organized into 24 subgenera wirg taxonomic keys provided to differentiate Cicindela from other Cicindelini, Cicindelina genera and to identify its members to the subgeneric and specific level. A new subgenus, Cicindela (Glomera), is established for Cicindela belloides (Horn, 1907).
