About the Author

Daniel D. Holt is an educator by profession, and a scholar on Korea as well. He is not only a master of the Korean language, but has a keen sense of understanding of the Korean culture. His strong interest in Korea caused him to participate in this book project. He lives in Sacramento, California.

Soma Han Stickler studied art from a foremost Korean sculptor and at the California College of Arts and Crafts. Her works can be viewed in the permanent archives of both the National Museum of Women in the Arts and the Very Special Arts Gallery in Washington, DC. This is her first children's book. She lives in Royal Oaks, California with her husband, John.
