Tilly Turtle Finds her Focus

Tilly Turtle has a busy brain.

She starts one thing… then notices another. A tapping pencil, a bird outside the window, a new thought—and suddenly, Tilly has forgotten what she was supposed to be doing!

When focusing starts to feel frustrating, Tilly discovers something important: being good at focusing doesn't mean never getting distracted. It means learning how to find your way back.

Through a fun and relatable story, Tilly learns simple strategies to help her manage distractions, get started on overwhelming tasks, and finish what she begins. Kids will discover practical tools they can use at home and at school, including breaking big jobs into tiny steps, using a focus timer, taking movement breaks, and “parking” distracting thoughts for later.

Tilly Turtle Finds Her Focus is a warm, encouraging story for children ages 5–9 who have busy minds, struggle with attention, or simply need a little help staying on task.

The book also includes Tilly's Focus Toolbox, an easy-to-use collection of strategies children, parents, teachers, and counselors can practice together.

Because getting distracted doesn't mean you failed.

Coming back is part of focusing.
