About the Author

Gillian spends a lot of her time in a studio in the basement of her dad’s bicycle shop – drawing, painting, printing - and trying to drown out the sound of people testing bells upstairs. Having completed her Illustration degree at Falmouth in 2012, Gillian has returned home to South East London where she enjoys doing as much exploring and adventuring as is possible with an empty piggy bank (quite a lot, actually). She is still searching for the perfect den. This is her first picture book.
