Tilted Halos and Rusted Crowns

An eclectic collection of powerful poems rooted on the throne of author Percival Jordan II, Tilted Halos and Rusted Crowns summons you to experience what it means to be both human and divine in all its unapologetic juicy valor. Angels and Kings are both celebrated for their powers and are also known more than not, for their humanlike downfalls of lustful indulgences. If you are struggling with being the best version of yourself and need to see things from a higher-self view, this book is definitely for you. Explore a unique reflection of what we all can connect with as we evolve in this journey of Ups and Downs, Successes, Sex, Sadness, Relationships, Expectations and all that comes with life. This book gives page after page of emotional plucks (like a guitar riff by the artist formally known as Prince) stroking at your heart, reminding us all that we are what we are (evolving and interchanging between realms of perfect and not so perfect). The writer allows his pen and vulnerability to collaborate on poems from fragile places of pain and growth giving this collection a sure re-read value. All are invited to read the trials and tribulations of the divine and royal bloodline we’ve all inherited. So as you read and hang on every word, remember you don’t have to be your mistakes or your mess-ups. Use this book as a mirror to see the perfect Imperfection in your own custom halos and crowns and accept the wings you’ve grown and the throne you will pass on. By LaToya Byrd of GoodNewsGoulds.com
