George, Tom, Desmond and the Colonel share many a companionable drink in the Back Bar of the Sloop Inn.

Timothy Davidson is a former solicitor who is married with three sons and lives in Bristol with his wife. He has written four other books, each an entertainment involving unlikely but plausible twists in the tale.
