This book is in god minus condition. Library tape on entire spine and both hinges. Library markings on spine and both pastedowns. Moderate chipping to all corners of boards. Moderate scuffing to gilt label on front board. Tape on top corner of page 84. Rest of interior pages are clean. "In Our Time" is Hemingway's first collection of short stories. The stories themes of alienation, loss, grief, and separation, which include descriptions of acts of war, bullfighting, and current events. The collection is known for its spare language and oblique depiction of emotion, through a style known as Hemingway "theory of omission".
