About this title

Synopsis

From the same team who created Abrams' fabulously successful A Home for All Seasons comes another sumptuously photo graphed decorating book, this one celebrating the precious time we spend at home. Opening with dawn's pale light, the book takes readers on a tour of dozens of indoor and outdoor spaces at various hours of the day, showing how they are transformed by the effects of light, color, and mood.

The text and 115 glorious color photographs offer inspiration for introducing texture, pattern, form, and color in every living area, from bedrooms and kitchens to home offices and playrooms. Comfortably elegant, sophisticated but never intimidating, the book emphasizes how and when we use the rooms of our homes, combining style and function with personal expression.
