Two of Rosamunde Pilcher’s most heartfelt novels reveal the sanctity of second chances and the irresistible pull of the past.
The Empty House
At twenty-seven, Virginia has been through more than most people experience in a lifetime. When she and her two children travel to a seaside cottage for a much-needed break, she never expects to rediscover a true love from her past. Is this the second chance Virginia needs to finally find happiness?
The Day of the Storm
When Rebecca learns she has relatives she never knew existed, her first reaction is shock. But as she sets out to meet her new grandfather and cousin, Rebecca is even less prepared for the enigmatic Joss Gardner, the outsider who seems to be the apple of her grandfather’s eye. Soon, Rebecca begins to uncover the dark currents that belie her family’s loving reception, and it’s only with Joss’s help that she can truly understand them.
