Timepiece

Jacket design by Terry James; the first of three novels in the 'Galactic Federation' or 'Timepiece' series; "In one of the most unusual time stories to be written in recent years, Brian Ball takes the reader on a journey through the universe and produces some of the most fascinating concepts to deal with the relativity of time, and space, looking for the focal point of time itself. He blends science and fiction in an explosively imaginative form that whirls the reader into a Vortex of excitement. But perhaps the most disconcerting aspect of this novel is that the theories expounded by the author have been checked by a noted scientist and have been declared feasible."
