In His Timing

"Full of twists and turns that keep the reader eagerly anticipating the next page, an unusual turn of events catapults a young woman one hundred years into the past--into a world of slavery, civil war, and a dangerous, yet irresistible romance. Can her presence there actually affect the outcome of certain events? More importantly, should she even try?" --Linda Cole, Adjunct Faculty, Communication Studies at Marshall University

All she wanted was a cure for Lorena's illness. God had His own plan. He reached down and placed her 100 years in the past. Danger all around--Underground Railroad, hidden messages, espionage, and a certain Yankee major who insists on her hand in marriage, Emily defies them all as she searches for God's will in this time and place.

Ellen K. Hatcher resides in West Virginia, with her husband, Steve. Her activities restricted by multiple sclerosis, she now devotes much of her time toward creative writing and has published a poem.
