A late Victorian guide to using tinned and preserved food, including several recipes "for small households, economically conducted, also for yachting and camping-out excursions". No publication date, but appears to be an unchanged reprint of the 1893 edition by Ward, Lock and Bowden. Bowden left the company in 1897, so this book was likely published circa 1900. Adverts printed on inside and rear covers, ffep and rfep. Spine shows discolouration. Shelfwear to cover edges. Erased pencil marks on ffep and a samll ink inscription on first flyleaf.
