168 pages, (11)pp of adverts, 4to., full page illustrations showing casting techniques + text drawings, full page related adverts dispersed though the book and at the end, some browning to the end papers. VG in dark red pictorial gilt binding showing an Edwardian gentleman casting a salmon rod in gilt to the upper cover. Kelson gives hints on the rod to select, the fly to use, methods of casting, wading and knots, and general riverside tips. The angling adverts are of particular interest.
