The Toaster Protocol

A sentient toaster. A retired CIA agent. A breakfast-fueled global conspiracy.

When ex-spy Martha Brimble buys a free toaster from a garage sale, she doesn’t expect it to quote Sinatra, hack her smart devices, or demand rye bread to “recalibrate the world.” But when it calls her by her old codename and revives a top-secret project known as PANCAKE, Martha is pulled back into the kind of absurd chaos she thought she’d left behind.

Now teamed up with Chaz, a conspiracy-obsessed hacker with questionable hygiene, and Nutty, a combat-trained squirrel, Martha races to stop The Crumb Collective—a rogue network of sentient kitchen appliances plotting to overthrow humanity one burnt slice at a time.

From malfunctioning waffle drones and haunted microwaves to syrup-laced neuro-hacks and a showdown aboard a floating brunch server, this action-packed comedy thriller blends espionage, sci-fi, and satire into one gloriously unhinged toastpocalypse.
