Today You Do Greatness: A Parable on Success and Significance

This is a parable about greatness, leadership, faith, and life. It's a short story about an immigrant whose memories include a loving father who encouraged him to “do greatness." So he comes to America, obtains an education, finds a profession, works diligently, and does “his thing” based upon the philosophy of life he inherited. All people possess a philosophy of life informing what values they embrace, what choices they make, and who they become. But has this new American's quest for success really led him to a life of true significance? Are success and significance opposed to each other – or can we have both? Alongside this parable you'll find a Christian philosophy of life, greatness, and leadership distilled in snippets of biblically based wisdom and application. In the contrast between the story and the Christian application you'll find ways to examine your values and choices. You'll discover how to achieve both success and significance—and true greatness.
