About the Author

Marie McLaughlin is lovingly called Nana by her sixteen grandchildren. They like to visit her in Santa Fe to hear all sorts of stories that she tells. As a mother of seven children, Marie has learned about the excitement and laughter books bring to children. She continues to read and write for their enjoyment as well as yours.

The artist Roni Rohr lives in Santa Fe, NM, with her husband and two children. You can find her in her sunny studio, which faces the mountains. What you may not be able to locate is her drawing table, which is covered with her latest design projects, assorted gauche paints, water colors, paper, post-it notes, brushes, and a cup of hot tea even in summer. A licensed designer in the gift and stationery industry, Roni found it natural to take her lively style into her very first children's book.
