He survived carrying a dead spy's memories. He wasn't supposed to survive what came next.

A year after the implantation of a dead spy's memories, former ballet dancer David Knight is trying to rebuild his life. The memories have faded, but the instincts may be the only thing keeping him alive.

Desperate for a fresh start, David accepts an offer from a legendary spymaster to investigate the world's leading cybersecurity company. Instead, he uncovers a conspiracy hidden behind software trusted by governments and corporations around the globe—software that can expose secrets powerful enough to blackmail the world's elite.

But when a billionaire's teenage daughter is abducted and taken to Japan, David follows the trail into the heart of a deadly alliance between corporate power, organized crime, and international espionage.

Now hunted by Japanese assassins, David must become the man he never wanted to be to save an innocent life—and stop a criminal empire from seizing a weapon far more dangerous than money.

Because the world's most valuable secrets are already inside the system.
