Come to a place once called Tokyo in the second collection of art works by TOKYO GENSO!!

TOKYO GENSO is a creator who depicts a ruined city of Tokyo with stunning creativity. That worldview has attracted the attention of many people and has been acclaimed on social media.
Shibuya Station, where the ground has partially collapsed and grass has covered the area; Tokyo Station covered with grass and mushrooms; Asakusa’s Kaminarimon entangled by the roots of trees and more…   
Here is an ephemerally beautiful world where impossible scenes of the future stimulate the imagination.
Following TOKYO GENSO ART WORKS, which was published in Japan in 2020, TOKYO GENSO ART WORKS Ⅱ is the long-awaited second volume featuring, another Tokyo, in which the creativity of TOKYO GENSO, a genius in the art of ruins, shines through once again. 
This book also features an interview with Yoji Nakaza, former director of Kusanagi, the art production company that handles backgrounds and other art for anime productions (in Japanese only). 

TOKYO GENSO first began working as an illustrator in May 2008. In addition to working on backgrounds for games and anime, more recently the artist has been releasing a series of original works and actively holding exhibitions. TOKYO GENSO’s work has appeared and been featured in numerous magazines, newspapers, online media, and more, both in Japan and overseas. As of June 2024, the artist has more than 210,000 followers on X.
